Summer Learning Journey Day 1 Activity 2 Week 2

On your blog tell us what you think about the fact that women were not allowed to vote in Saudi Arabia until 2015. Is it fair? Why or why not?

No, it was not fair that women were not allowed to vote. Its because men and women should have been able to vote that is way we have human rights.

  1. Kia Ora Nickaela,
I totally agree with you, as I think that we all regardless gender, religion or race should have the same opportunities. Women as much as men are active members of our society and we must strive for equal rights relentlessly. I can't believe that despite the fact that we live in such a modern and globalised world there still some countries like Saudi Arabia that only in 2015 allow women to vote. I realised that I am so luck because I live here in New Zealand, but other women out there not so much as they are struggling to guarantee their most basic rights in society.
In your post you are mentioning that is not fair, could you try to explain and elaborate a little bit more on why do you think this is unfair? Try to be specific as this would backup your opinion. In order for you to gain full points for this activity I need you to write a bit more and let me know. Could you do that?

Furthermore, it would be great if you add a picture to create a visual impact in this post.

    Keep up the good work!

    Kia kaha,
    Patricia
