Martina and her family migrated from their country because of the climate changing and now it is becoming threatening to the people of Kiribati. One of the reasons Maritina migrate from Kiribati was because of a Push Reason. ( A push reason are a negative reason why people leave their country of origin ). In the news story is has been predicted that this island will be underwater in the next decade. This is caused by the Greenhouse gases that circulate the Earth and keeps it warm. The rising temperature is cause climate change and that is also causing the fish and the all food source to leave the waters which is causing hunger.
You have mentioned some key facts regarding reasons why families are migrating from Kiribati. Did Martina's family migrate for Push or Pull reasons ? Can you explain this difference between push and pull ?
