Kiwi Can

Today we had Kiwi Can with Mr Matt and Ms Lily in LS2 because we are going on a trip to the  Auckland Philharmonic  Orchestra.  What we did was played two games and the first game was called Beats, in this game, everyone sat in a circle, and there was one person in the middle on a chair. There was one person in the circle that was chosen in the circle to start a beat, everyone in the circle had to follow it but the person in the middle had to guess which person stared the beat.  I really liked this game and it was really fun. 

Kiwi Can Reflection

Today for Kiwi Can Mr Matt and Miss Lily were talking to us about the values Accountability and Integrity. Accountability means when you take responsibility for your own actions. Values are when you have a goal that set for you that you have to follow like at PBS we have the CARE values which is confidence, attitude, respect and excellence and innovation. These are the values that the students at PBS have to up hold to. How we can show Accountability in school is by having your Chromebook charged at school, bring your P.E gear on the days you are needed to, have respect towards teachers and always tell the truth. Our energizer was called copy me, so Miss Lily started of by having a stack of cards in her hands, than we were put into four groups, after that each group chose a leader to go and get one card each we finished with an other, so when each got a card there were either numbers or letters on it like two ( 2 ) so if your group got two ( 2 ) there were things that you had to do if you got that number. My group got  two ( 2 ) so the task we were set was to run on the spot for 10 seconds. I was in a group with Magenta, Mele, Angela and Joel. We put in a lot of team work and effort. It was fun and feeling cool to do and I can't wait for next weeks session.

Today in Kiwi Can our topic is Integrity and our theme was making good & bad choices. The first game we played was called Opposites. In this game we played Ms Lily would do a movement like she would move her arms up and we'd move our's down or she would step back and we would step forward. 

These were cool games to play because we learned a

lot about having integrity and knowing the difference between a good and bad choice.

Today for Kiwi Can Mr Matt and Ms Lily explained told us about the topic for term 1 is. We also played a games called Bang! The way you play this game is that you and a group of friends stand in a circle. One other person stands in the middle and calls out people's names that are in the middle of two people. The person call at should duck down and the two other challenge each to which person can say Bang! first. We also  played a energizer. This was a really good Kiwi Can.
