Memorising Together - Activity

Today I social sciences we had an activity with Ms. Apelu, Ms. Robertson. During this activity, we learned about the different words that relate to the government or anything to do with the parliamentary business. In this activity, we memorized words such as Political Party & Member Of Parliament, After memorizing we played a game and it was that each one of us would be asked if you remembered a word and right after that learned the Definitions/The meaning of the word to play a different where we were asked if we remembered what the words meant. This was activity was a great confidence boost when helping those who weren't up to speaking to other people or a group of people.

Kiribati Climate Change Literacy Reading

Martina and her family migrated from their country because of the climate changing and now it is becoming threatening to the people of Kiribati. One of the reasons Maritina migrate from Kiribati was because of a Push Reason. ( A push reason are a negative reason why people leave their country of origin ).  In the news story is has been predicted that this island will be underwater in the next decade. This is caused by the Greenhouse gases that circulate the Earth and keeps it warm. The rising temperature is cause climate change and that is also causing the fish and the all food source to leave the waters which is causing hunger.
