The Branches Of The NZ Government

Recently in Social Sciences with Ms. Pugh and Ms. Robinson, we have been learning about the New Zealand Government and its different branches such as LegislativeExecutive Judiciary. Each of these branches has something to do with the government and they split the parliament into those three parties. The meanings of these words are :

  • Legislative - Is having the power to make laws and making sure that they get followed by the people of the community.
  • Executive - Is the branch in the government that makes sure people NZ know the laws of the government.
  • Judiciary - Judiciary has the power to fine you in court for not standing by the obligated laws and guidelines that we were given by the Government.
