Today Panmure Bridge School had our own Armistice Day Commemoration. The reason for armistice day is to remember the people who lost their lives Each class had large poppie that person in the class wrote on the back of the poppie and they will on them of the wall next to the three olive trees that are being planted as a symbol of peace and friendship. We had a member the NZ army force joined us on this special event and he came up to each classroom to speak to us about how he got transferred to different countries, how he did his training and how hard it was for him to leave his family but he was doing it help people. This an amazing experience because we got to remember those who lost their lives and be respectful.
This blog is a record of my learning from Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ through to Tamaki College.
