Today for Mathematics I made a DLO that explained the strategy that I learned to solve the 9 x times table by using the 10 x times table. In my DLO I solved 9 x 9 and the answer to that is 81. By using the 10 x times table I added 9 and 10 which equaled up to 90. Then I subtracted 9 from 90 and I ended up with the answer 81. I ended up with the answer that I got when I started the sum in the beginning. This is a easier way to solve your 9 x times table by using your 10 times table. It's a cool trick I learned that will really help me in Mathematics. I hope you learned a easier strategy to help you solve your 9 x times table.
This blog is a record of my learning from Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ through to Tamaki College.
